Privacy Policy

Zivio Digital is a Calgary, Alberta business. This policy explains what information our website collects, why we collect it and how we look after it. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us through the consultation form:

• Your first and last name
• Your email address
• Your phone number and business name, if you add them
• The service you're interested in and your message

The website does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and we don't run analytics that follow you from site to site.

How we use it

We use your details only to reply to your request, prepare a quote or proposal, and keep in touch about the project you asked about. We never sell, rent or trade your information. We won't add you to a marketing list unless you ask us to.

Where it's stored

This website is hosted by Netlify. Form submissions are stored in our Netlify account and sent to us by email. Netlify and our email provider may store data on servers outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws. Only Zivio Digital staff can see your submissions.

Other services the site uses

• Google Fonts supplies the website's typefaces. Your browser downloads them from Google, which receives your IP address as part of that request.
• Your light or dark choice is saved in your own browser (local storage) so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device.
• Links to other sites, such as our clients' websites and Zivio TapProfile, have their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the length of the project and any records we must keep for tax and business purposes. Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 24 months.

Client projects

When we build or manage systems for clients (websites, portals, Microsoft 365, networks), we only access the client's data as needed to do the work, keep it confidential and follow the client's instructions. Each client's own privacy policy covers how their customers' information is handled.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email us and we'll reply within 30 days.
